EchoLink Net

SDFARC meets on ECHOLINK NODE 9424 (AB9FJ) EVERY MONDAY at 0000 UTC.

This is a directed social NET where a minimal checkin requires your call sign, userid and location. Points and a ranking are awarded at end of each NET and are published here on sdfarc.org.

  • Stations with 10 consecutive weekly check ins are called in order of their ranking
  • Stations using ECHOLINK are awarded 1 pt per check in
  • Stations using ECHOLINK+RF are awarded 3 pts
  • Stations that do not check in for 6 consecutive weeks get dropped from the call roster and lose accumulated points.

    HELLO and WELCOME!
    
    It is now time for the SDF Amateur Radio Club weekly NET.
    I am your NET CONTROL operator:  NAME, CALLSIGN in LOCATION
    This is a directed NET that meets every monday at ZERO hour ZULU via
    ECHOLINK NODE 9424 linked to NODE 482474 which is the the WA7HJR repeater.
    I would like to thank the Puget Sound Radio Teletype Repeater Group for 
    the use of their repeater during our NET.
    
    I will first call for stations on the SDFARC NET roster followed by a call
    for guest stations.  Guest stations who check in 10 consecutive times will
    make the roster and those on the roster who do not check in for 6 consecutive
    weeks will be dropped.
    
    This is CALLSIGN, USERID located in QTH calling ...
    
    net control now calls the active roster
    
    after roster is checked in, ask and make announcements
